Shell Technology Enterprise Programme
STEP is a national programme designed to help SMEs and community organisations develop their potential by making use of the skills of undergraduates, and also to encourage undergraduates to consider a career in smaller firms. The scheme places penultimate year undergraduates in industry for 8 weeks during the summer vacation, working on a business-related or science, engineering or technology based project. STEP helps to identify the issues facing the organisation and translates them into a definable and structured project. STEP will source the right undergraduate with the profile you need and match with your company to undertake a project of choice. Through STEP the business will save time, acquire new skills and incur no major costs. The textiles sector has been earmarked as a priority for STEP projects. For more information visit STEP
